Transcripts from police interviews show that none of the four swimmers held at gun point for money were ever asked about the bathroom, according to USA Today.

The authorities have claimed that Lochte and his teammates destroyed and vandalized the bathroom at the gas station in Rio. However, that claim from the police has also already been debunked. A previous report from USA Today proved there was absolutely no damage to the bathroom.

These two reports from USA Today make it appear that the police completely manufactured the claim that the American swimmers trashed the bathroom.
